The Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer (RCO) is an advanced VOC abatement system designed for medium to high concentration organic exhaust gases.
By combining catalytic oxidation with regenerative heat recovery, the RCO system achieves high destruction efficiency, low operating temperature, and significant energy savings.
Compared with traditional RTO systems, RCO operates at a lower oxidation temperature (250–400°C), reducing fuel consumption and extending equipment service life.

What Is an RCO System?
An RCO (Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer) is a VOC treatment system that oxidizes organic pollutants into CO₂ and H₂O using a catalyst under controlled temperature conditions.
Heat generated during oxidation is stored in ceramic heat storage media and reused in the next cycle, ensuring high thermal efficiency.
VOC Inlet & Preheating

Exhaust gas passes through the regenerative ceramic beds, where it is preheated by stored thermal energy.
Catalytic Oxidation
The preheated gas flows through the catalyst bed, where VOCs are oxidized at a relatively low temperature.
Heat Recovery
Clean, hot exhaust gas transfers heat back to the ceramic media before being discharged.
